How can I record and manage Incoming and Outgoing phone calls?

You can record both incoming and outgoing calls using TapeACall by following the simple steps below.

👉 To record an incoming call

  1. Answer the call as you normally would
  2. Open TapeACall
  3. Tap the big red Record button in the center of the screen
  4. Tap Call to dial the TapeACall recording line
  5. Once connected, tap Merge Calls to start recording

This merges your current call with the TapeACall line, which will then record the entire conversation until you hang up.

👉 To record an outgoing call

  1. Open TapeACall
  2. Tap the big red Record button
  3. Tap Call to connect to the TapeACall recording line
  4. Once connected, tap Add Call and dial the number you want to record
  5. When they answer, tap Merge Calls to begin recording

TapeACall records the entire conversation until you disconnect.

👉 What happens after the call ends

Once you hang up, your recording is processed and made available within seconds. Longer calls (over 30 minutes) may take a bit more time. TapeACall automatically trims the silence at the beginning so playback starts when the conversation begins.

👉 How to access your recordings

  1. Open TapeACall
  2. In the Recordings tab, to the left of the red Record button, you can view your Recordings list
  3. Tap on any item in the list to play the recording

Recordings are securely stored on TapeACall’s servers and linked to your account.

👉 How to label a recording

  1. Swipe left on any recording in your list
  2. Tap the Label button
  3. Enter the name you want and save it

👉 How to delete a recording

  1. Swipe left on the recording
  2. Tap the red Delete button

There is no limit! You can record as many calls as you’d like.

👉 How long can each recording be?
