How do I manage my recording Transcriptions?

You can easily transcribe any of your TapeACall recordings and even edit the text afterward. Here's how:

👉 How to transcribe a recording

1. Select the recording you’d like to transcribe: this will start playing at the bottom of your screen
2. Tap the folded player to open the expanded view
3. Tap the grey Transcribe Recording button
4. Wait for the transcription to complete (this may take as long as the recording itself)
5. You’ll receive a push notification when it’s ready

👉 How to edit a transcription

1. Tap the transcribed recording to start playback
2. Tap the folded player to expand it
3. Tap the green View Transcription button
4. Tap Edit in the top right-hand corner
5. Make your changes and tap Save when finished

👉 Sharing and deleting transcriptions

• You can share any transcription using the available sharing options
• If you'd like to delete a transcription, you’ll need to delete the entire recording it’s attached to

👉 Accuracy and timing

Transcriptions may not be 100% accurate, but you’re free to edit them anytime. Transcription time typically matches the length of your recording (for example, a 90-minute call may take about 90 minutes to process).
